I was born in Afghanistan and moved to Germany when I was three years old. I studied Information Science and Engineering and as a student I worked in Recruitment Technology. As I working student I loved being a recruiter – speaking with candidates, searching for the best match of candidates and vacancies – so I decided to stay in HR when I finished my studies. After 5 years’ experience I can say that I’m a great recruitment matchmaker.
My husband and I moved to Luxembourg when he was offered a job there. I chose to join the Saro Recruitment team because of how they work with client and candidates. We live in Trier and commute to Luxembourg – even though these cities are very different to our home town of Frankfurt, we wanted to take up the challenge of moving to a new city while leaving our friends and family behind.
Luckily we enjoy living in a smaller city; it’s less stressful, the people are friendlier, there are some lovely sights to see and the culture change is a welcome one. I enjoy travelling so Luxembourg is a great base, easy to visit cities in France, Belgium and also other European countries. I am looking forward to this challenging and adventurous time of our lives.
